Czech language lessons for Ukrainian youth in full swing at DDM Smetanka, Nový Bor

Students involved in the Erasmus+ project “Language learning and employment in gastronomy” are working on improving their communication skills in Czech. They don’t just sit at the textbooks, but thanks to teacher Marcela Meidinger, the lessons are full of interactive exercises, games and discussions. This allows them to try out Czech in practical situations. It is through the mix of theory and practice that they gradually gain the confidence necessary to achieve fluency in a foreign language.

Although each student is at a different language level, by working together they all improve.

We are proud of the progress our students have made in such a short time and look forward to seeing what they can do next.
