Sharing experiences at the final conference
Projekt pro mladé Ukrajince žijící v Česku a Polsku vyvrcholil závěrečnou konferencí. Po 6 intenzivních gastronomických kurzech a jazykových kurzech v Česku a Polsku jsme se konečně všichni sešli v klidné atmosféře Libereckého DOKu, ve kterém se konaly 2 poslední gastronomické kurzy. Vedle účastníků, lektorů a partnerů projektu na konferenci dorazily úředníci, politici a zástupci dalších organizací zaměřených na vzdělávání, či integraci cizinců.
Konferenci moderovala majitelka společnosti GetBizDone, s.r.o., která celý projekt připravila a vedla. Po krátkém představení projektu, gastronomických a jazykových kurzů se představili také partneři projektu z Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna, kteří vedli jazykové kurzy polštiny a pomáhali se zajištěním polských účastníků na gastronomické kurzy.
Přísun kávy na konferenci zajišťovali dva absolventi baristických kurzů z Polska.
Vedle samotných partnerů na konferenci postupně vystoupili lektoři jednotlivých kurzů
Polské jazykové kurzy nám představila jedna z jejich lektorek. Součástí představení bylo také vyhodnocení a zpětná evaluace kurzů přímo jejich účastníky. Vyhodnocení, které dopadlo velice dobře následně stvrdili samotní účastníci, kteří k nám na konferenci dorazili. Jejich skvělá polština byla jasným důkazem jejich jazykové vybavenosti. Jazykové kurzy češtiny představila jejich koordinátorka, která s mladými Ukrajinci pracuje už od začátku války na Ukrajině a vyjasnila některé specifika práce s nimi.
Část gastronomických kurzů se konala v Hotelu STARÝ MLÝN a část v Libereckém DOKu. Kurzy v Hotelu představila jazyková lektorka a manažerka well-beingu, která na kurzech působila. Kurzy vedené zkušenými kuchaři a číšníky měly u jejich účastníků pozitivní ohlas. Ze zpětné vazby účastníků, která proběhla po každém kurzu vyšly najevo nízké možnosti trávení volného času po kurzech. To byl jeden z důvodů proč jsme se další kurzy rozhodli přesunout do Liberce. Ten druhý vycházet z poptávky studentů po kurzu zaměřeného na baristy. Zbylé kurzy tak probíhaly v Libereckém DOKu, provozovaným Nordbeans. Oba kurzy na konferenci představil head-barista kavárny a lektor kurzů v jednom.
Ke konci závěrečné konference proběhla diskuze o evaluaci projektu a nových poznatcích, které jejich organizátoři a lektoři získali. Velkým tématem bylo práca a hlavně vzdělávání osob s traumatem.

The project for young Ukrainians living in the Czech Republic and Poland culminated in the final conference. After 6 intensive gastronomy courses and language courses in the Czech Republic and Poland, we finally all gathered in the quiet atmosphere of the Liberec DOK, where the last 2 gastronomy courses were held. In addition to participants, lecturers and partners of the project, officials, politicians and representatives of other organizations focused on education and integration of foreigners arrived at the conference.
The conference was moderated by the owner of GetBizDone, s.r.o., who prepared and managed the entire project. After a short presentation of the project, gastronomy and language courses, project partners from the Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna, who led Polish language courses and helped secure Polish participants for the gastronomy courses, also presented themselves.
The supply of coffee at the conference was provided by two graduates of barista courses from Poland.
In addition to the partners themselves, the lecturers of individual courses spoke at the conference
Polish language courses were introduced to us by one of their lecturers. Part of the performance was also the evaluation and feedback of the courses directly by their participants. The evaluation, which turned out to be very good, was subsequently confirmed by the participants themselves who came to the conference. Their excellent Polish was a clear proof of their language skills. The Czech language courses were presented by their coordinator, who has been working with young Ukrainians since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, and explained some of the specifics of working with them.
Part of the gastronomic courses took place in Hotel STARÝ MLÝN and part in Liberecké DOK. The courses at the Hotel were presented by the language teacher and well-being manager who worked on the courses. The courses led by experienced chefs and waiters had a positive response from their participants. From the feedback of the participants, which took place after each course, it became clear that there were few opportunities to spend free time after the courses. This was one of the reasons why we decided to move the next courses to Liberec. The latter is based on student demand for a course focused on baristas. The rest of the courses took place in the Liberecké DOK, operated by Nordbeans. Both courses were presented at the conference by the cafe’s head barista and course instructor in one.
At the end of the final conference, there was a discussion about the evaluation of the project and the new knowledge gained by their organizers and lecturers. A big topic was work and especially the education of people with trauma.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the conference, whether as participants, lecturers or supporters. The discussions that took place during the conference opened up new perspectives and brought valuable ideas for the further development of educational activities that will further support the integration of Ukrainians and other foreigners in the Czech Republic and Poland.
